I'm excited and honored to bring this skill set to Spokane and to serve our growing community.
Dr. Alex Myers,
Occupational Therapist
Owner, Columbia Pelvic Health
Born and raised in Spokane, I earned my bachelor’s degree from Seattle Pacific University in 2009 and my clinical doctorate degree from Northern Arizona University in 2018.
Growing up, I experienced stress urinary incontinence and other pelvic floor dysfunction until early adulthood. Then, once working as an occupational therapist, I found that many of my patients needed core strengthening and experienced debilitating issues that impacted their bladder, bowel and sexual function; symptoms often overlooked during their medical and therapeutic treatments.
After working in acute and outpatient adult rehab settings, I decided to specialize in pelvic floor therapy. I worked at Balanced Physical Therapy in Vancouver, WA. treating pelvic floor dysfunction in women and men before returning home to Spokane in 2023 to open Columbia Pelvic Health
I'm passionate about helping people understand their bodies, strengthen their core, and return to doing the activities they love. I feel so privileged to do this work.
